DigUp Privacy Policy
DigUp does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or browsing data. Everything happens on your device.
What DigUp does
DigUp is a Chrome extension that reads tables and lists from the web page you are viewing and lets you export them as CSV or Excel files, or copy them for Google Sheets.
Data we collect
None. DigUp has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. It does not collect personal information, browsing history, page content or usage statistics, and it makes no network requests of its own.
How your data is handled
- Scraping happens locally. The page is read and processed inside your browser. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
- Saved site setups (the list you chose, column names and the Next button for a site) are stored in
chrome.storage.localon your device so DigUp can offer them on your next visit. You can reset them in the panel, or remove them by uninstalling the extension. - Recent results are kept in
chrome.storage.sessionso you can restore them if the panel is reopened. Chrome clears this when the browser closes. - Exports are files you download. CSV and Excel files are saved to your computer by your browser, and "Copy" places text on your clipboard. What you do with them afterwards is up to you.
Optional site access
DigUp does not ask for access to all sites when you install it. If you start a multi-page run that uses a Next button, which can load further pages, Chrome asks you to allow access to that site. Infinite-scroll runs stay on the current page and do not need it. It is used only to keep reading those pages during the run, and you can revoke it at any time in Chrome's extension settings.
What DigUp does not do
- No analytics or tracking
- No advertising
- No remote code: all code ships inside the extension
- No selling or sharing of data, because none is collected

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
